Arizona Operator Requirements: Arizona prohibits anyone under 12 years of age from operating any craft with an 8-horsepower or larger motor, except: 1. In emergencies. 2. With a passenger 18 years of age or older. Utah Operator Requirements: Persons 12 to 17 years of age may operate a PWC alone, provided: 1. The operator completes a boating education course approved by Utah State Parks and has in their possession the certificate issued by the course provider. 2. In addition to the education requirement, operators 12-15 years of age must be under direct supervision (within sight at a distance in which visual contact is maintained by the adult responsible for the young boat operator) of a person at least 18 years of age. 3. A person less than 18 years of age who has not met the above requirements may not operate a PWC unless accompanied on board by a person at least 18 years of age. NPS regulations states that we can not launch or retrieve your rental watercraft. You must launch and retrieve the equipment yourself. |
Because of these regulations, which apply to everyone, you have 2 options |
Use your own vehicle (providing your vehicle can tow the rental equipment). Take the rental equipment to the lake, launch, park, and |
have a great time at the lake. Return the rental equipment by 6:00 PM on the return date. |
Use our Tow Vehicle to take the rental equipment the lake, drop off the equipment and return the Tow Vehicle and trailer to our |
location. Then at the end of your return date, come back and pick-up the Tow Vehicle and trailer, retrieve the rental equipment and return to our |
location by the Scheduled Return Time. |
There is a $40.00 fee for the use of our Tow Vehicle. Tow Vehicles must be returned immediately after launching your rental equipment. If the |
Tow Vehicle is not returned within the first hour of use, a rate of $60.00 per hour will be charged for each addition hour of use thereafter. |
